Leg Port Dielette ... Port Dielette

A second Severe Weather Warning forced the organisation and the Race Committee to cancel the Dielette Cherbourg leg.

It is full of regrets that the organizer, Luc Berthillier, had to announce that the 2010 edition of the Tour des Ports de la Manche were ending on Friday 16^th July at 9.00am in Port Dielette.

Despite their deception to not having been able to reach Cherbourg and then St Vaast La Hougue, the competitors applauded the decision which had just been taken, aware that due to the weather, it was a real danger to try to cross the Raz Blanchard.

But the party did not stop for all that. An award ceremony in presence of the call towns politicians and partners had been planned. And still equal to its “welcoming town” fame, Port Dielette offered a buffet to the competitors.
